For many purposes, shops that accept credit also have a greater selection. For others, I've found the most striking difference with food. Many of the finest restaurants are not yet able to accept credit.

[ By finest, he means quality and a number of other attributes, rather than price or the decor. Other than for food and alcohol, he doesn't really do much shopping, so might as well just go to the shops that take credit. ]

Where is it that you're finding these bills?
